About BANAE
Inspired by the Life and Mission of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the students of Technical
Colleges around Nagpur founded Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Engineers Association in 1969
under the pioneership Of Er. Devendra Walde at Nagpur with the objective to help
the poor students from Technical Colleges at Nagpur. A library was opened for these
students and proved to be of great help to them.
It worked mainly for Engineering students welfare as well as Engineer's working
in several fields at Nagpur. With the intension to spread the association nation
wide it was decided to register the association as " Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar National
Association Engineers" at Mumbai in 1988.
Since then at Maharashtra State BANAE unit was lead by engineers like Er.Godghate
, Er.Ashok Jadhav , Er.Devendra Walde , Er. G. M. Kandhare Etc.
Now presently "BANAE" is active and functioning with full enthusiasm in Maharashtra
State with its Head Quarter at "B-3/4, Sagar Apartments, Shahnoorwadi, Opp. Shahnoormiyan
Durgah, Aurangabad in the leadership of Er. Arjun Bansode & Er. Rahul Jadhav Who
are connected actively with this unit since 17 years and fighting for justice by
approaching appropriate courts like MAT at Nagpur , Mumbai , SC ST Commission at
Mumbai and Highcourt at Aurangabad by virtue of which some of the BANAE engineer
members could reach the chair of Secretary in Maharashtra State Govt.
In every district of Maharashtra State BANAE branches are formed and functioning.
Amongs which Nashik, Nanded, Aurangabad, Pune branches are doing noticable work.
Like Aurangabad Branch BANAE has its own premises at Nagpur, Mumbai and Jalgaon.
Our Mission
1. To organize and foster sense of unity and Nationality amongst the persons of
backward classes belonging to Engineering profession all over the country and abroad.
2. Student Welfare Activity To work as in information centre for the students to
help them in their career planning as an Engineering. To organize and run Coaching
classes for the deserving students seeking admission in Engineering colleges.
3. To organize and run libraries
4. To fight against the discriminatory attitude towards the student.
5. To promote and guard the special rights and privileges of student of backward
communities at the time of admission and also during the period of their students.
6. To help the student in getting the right amount of scholarships and in time.
7. Arranging extra coaching and turorials for the needy student of Engineering colleges/Institution.
8. To groom and guide students for better jobs through competitive Examination of
U.P.S.C. etc.
9. To help student s in securing hostel accommodation
10. To hire or construct hostel accommodation for Engineering students.
11. To offer financial assistance to the students in diro needs and distress in
the form of loans
12. To secure scholarships for higher studies in foreign countries.
13. To work for personality development and image building of students of backward
communities
FOR THE LEMENT OF ENGINEERS IN SERVICE OR IN PROFFETIONAL
1. To achieve professional excellence.
2. To arrange seminars, lectures, exhibition and culture show
3. To encourage member to write technical person on Engineering subjects and arrange
discussion on such subjects among the members.
4. To establish libraries and subscribe for technical literature, journals,periodicals
for their technical knowledge in various fields.
5. To established educational institutions to help growth of knowledge and sense
of fraternity in the society in general.
6. To establish and organize training classes and arrange refresher courses, orientation
and accliration sotion courses to improve the professional standards and development
of personality amongst workers/ member
7. To obtain help and guidance from similar organization, from the country and abroad
8. To help organizations, having similar aims and object.
9. To publish periodicals and information bulletins
10. To opprise the member of the achievement of that Association, in context of
aims and objects set by the association.
11. To promote and unfoguard the special rights and privileges granted to the weaker
sections backward classes under the provisions of the Indian constitution.
12. To take action for redressal of grievance of the member during their services
career.
13. To give wide publicity of job opportunities and ensure maximum intake in the
Governments, semi-Government and private sectors from amongst the member of the
Association.
14. To keep up-to-date account of the qualities engineers belonging to backward
community, seeking jobs on one hand and the opportunities and vacancies available
or advertised on the other hand, and match them together for affording them with
right type of jobs as far as possible.
15. To help and guide the Engineers of backward community so as to create better
awareness amongst them towards various facilities, concessions and special dispensation
as available to them under various Gazzette Notification, Government Memorandum,
circulars, Directives etc. 16. To seek recognition from National, International
and Governmental agencies and departments
